Beechwood Market

ALL , COMMUNITY , SUSTAINABILITY , WE OTTAWA

By Jennifer Horvath on July 4, 2016

The site of the future St. Charles Market is the new home of the Beechwood Market. Now in its third season, the Beechwood Market has moved across the street into the lush St. Charles grounds. After a rainy opening day on July 11th, the market is now in full swing. With a great selection of food and drink, as well as live music and entertainment for the kids, you’ll want to visit the market on Saturdays from 9AM to 2PM.

For those of you that celebrated Canada Day, last Saturday’s “Day After” market was the perfect cure with vendors serving up their Canada Day cures like garlic pesto, cold pressed juice, and locally brewed coffee. Along with some quiet Canadian tunes with Bern – plus plenty of distractions for the kids – the Beechwood Market was definitely the place to be on July 2nd!

This Saturday is “Emergency Services Day”. In addition to the regular market vendors, members of the local fire, ambulance, and police services will be present. What a perfect opportunity to chat with our local heroes and check out their cool vehicles.

Here are some photos from recent market days.
